Richard

Guitar/Ukulele/Bass

Graduated from Berklee College Of Music with top Honours in Jazz Composition and Music Education. Started his musical journey at the age of 19 and believes that anyone can start musical journey at any age

He is currently an active musician in Singapore as a session guitarist, arranger and composer. His teaching pedagogy is modelled from understanding each individual and their learning method and providing the most effective method to the students 

With at least 8 years of teaching experience, Richard teaches the classical guitar, finger-style acoustic guitar, as well as the electric guitar in different styles (Rock, Pop, Blues, RnB and jazz). Richard also teaches improvisation techniques as well as classical and contemporary music theory.

Richie

Guitar/Ukulele/Bass

Started learning the guitar at the age of 13 and graduated from International College of Music with a Diploma in Professional Music, and has since performed for various productions & performances (Hilton Hotel KL, Ambon Jazz Festival, Public Bank, Hwang Affin Capital, KL Performing Arts Centre, SP Setia, Actors Studio, etc.)

Has at least 5 years of teaching experience with students ranging from 5 to 60 years old. With a keen sense of hearing and coupled with his great arrangement techniques, Richie is capable of curating an arrangement of your favourite songs to the level that you are comfortable playing. 

Richie teaches the classical guitar, finger-style acoustic guitar, as well as the electric guitar in different styles (Rock, Pop, Blues, RnB and jazz).

Chuan Hao

Drums

Chuan Hao’s primary passion has always been teaching and mentoring aspiring drummers. He takes on a free-form teaching style and believes there is no one fixed way that can be applied to all students. 

Majoring in Music and Audio Technology in his Diploma at LaSalle College of the Arts, he had been trained under one of Singapore’s most prominent drum musicians. 

He had worked and performed at many notable events and venues, and had acquired valuable knowledge and performance experience within the local music industry as a drummer and audio engineer.

With more than 10 years of teaching experience, he teaches drums to students of all ages and levels.

Afiq

Drums

A motivated teacher with deep passion for music and an avid learner himself. His constant learning makes it easy for him to understand what most of his students are going through. He graduated from LaSalle College of the Arts with a Diploma in Contemporary music. 

Afiq has recorded with Mediacorp as a sessionist (drummer). His alter ego would be jamming with his band as he tours Asia performing in metal bands and sells records in stores across the globe like the States, Europe, Japan etc. 

He’s been teaching for 2 years and is very comfortable in teaching various drumming style (Rock, Pop, Latin and Fusion) and to add to that, he’s pretty solid on the piano too.

Jen

Piano

A well-qualified and dedicated music teacher, Jen graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music specializing in Performance for her main instrument – piano. Her experience of at least 7 years ensures optimal and quality music classes for every student of all ages and abilities.

Possessing a deep understanding of music pedagogy as well as an extensive experience of working with children allows Jen to cater to every student’s diverse needs.

Jen has the ability to capture her students’ interests and imaginations, helping them achieve their musical goals and developing them to their fullest potential.

Zack

Piano

Zack is passionate and skilled in both the Piano and Vocals. At the age of 13, he pursued his musical interests and is proficient in Pop and Classical Piano and Pop Vocals. He is an undergraduate at Lasalle College of the Arts, majoring in Classical Piano in his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Music. 

Has performed in various settings as solo performer & accompanist and has at least 3 years of teaching experience. He aims to help his students to feel confident through their instrument, building technique and guiding them to find their own individual voice. 

Michelle

Piano / Vocals

Michelle is a patient and accommodating teacher who loves to work with various types of learners in both private and group settings. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with top honours from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music in Manila, Philippines. 

She has 8 years of teaching experience, with students as young as 2.5 years old and had brought some of her students to as far as the Diploma Grade. 

She is well-versed in teaching the piano, violin, vocals and early childhood music exploration; Always aiming to spread the joy of music and continuously strives to improve her students’ personal development.

Zachary

Vocals / Piano

An undergraduate at the prestigious Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, NUS with a major in vocal and minor in piano. He’s been involved in performances across Singapore, most notably Esplanade and Gardens by the Bay. His other notable contributions would be the introduction of classical vocals in a Two Set Violins YouTube video. 

Zachary is an affable young man who has 2 years experience teaching students from age 5 and above. A great educator and communicator who’s capable of explaining complex musical terms in the simplest way. He believes the best approach to teaching is to get to know each student as an individual and cater to their different learning strengths.

Dominic

Vocals

At age 13, Dominic was invited to perform at Esplanade’s Concourse Theatre after his YouTube videos caught the attention of talent seekers. At present, he is a full time performing artiste and vocal trainer at Music and Drama Company (MDC).

A singer-songwriter himself, Dominic has released his own music & performed multiple tribute songs for Singapore and performed at notable venues and events such as The Star Theatre, Marina Bay Sands Theatre, The Padang and National Day Parade 2019.

Dominic has at least 5 years teaching experience, training soloists and group ensembles for major performances (Istana, Gardens by The Bay, Esplanade outdoor theatre). He is dedicated to helping people find their own voice as he believes that everyone can sing.
